impromptuSF is run by volunteers with a passion for bringing music to more people in a way that is fun for everyone. We deliver top-notch performances for FREE, in most cases. The reality is that many of our venues aren't free and can be quite expensive. This along with insurance, licensing for music and software and fees for things like the webserver delivering you this content cost funds.
We need support from people like you to help us get the word out and get the music ringing. There are many ways to help, but cash donations are our preference at this time. We are starting to look for grants. Showing grant-givers that a diversity of people support our cause through monetary support speaks volumes. No amount is too small. If you can make a significant contribution, we would be honored.
